Artist Statement --Sue Quellhorst

I have been hand knitting for over 40 years. I joined Studios On High in 1997 after having designed and created many designs for sweaters and other hand knitted products for my family and friends. I believe that hand knitting is a unique art form which allows for great creativity through the selection of yarns and design.

While traveling throughout the United States and Europe I have had the opportunity to select from yarn shops many unique and unusual yarns. Whether it is a creation for a child or an adult, I am happy to consult with persons to create a “one of a kind” piece of wearable art.
