Expressionism best describes my work. Mood and atmosphere are the subject matter taking precedence over other elements. The paintings often imply gesture or movement, while others suggest emotions or contemplation. Visual expressions of harmony and melody take form. Organic shapes associated with nature often appear. Some are best described as isolated secrets of nature. Making art for me, is an adventure into the unknown.

Theis’s work been awarded and accepted into many shows in central Ohio. Teda’s artwork is also in several corporate and private collections throughout the United States. She is also a member of Studios on high Gallery and is represented other galleries in The Gallery district called the Short North( in Columbus, Ohio).
