This show features the creations of 3 Studio On High Gallery Artists. Barb Swysgood turns old worn found objects into new creative pieces. Many are charming women with unique personalities. Sue Quellhorst's sweaters will fit the needs of the changing weather as autumn arrives and Helen Newman's whimsical side shows in her watercolor paintings of animals hiding in the fall foliage.

Studios on High Gallery artists will be celebrating Columbus's Bicentennial with a new show: COLUMBUS ARTISTS 24/7. For over a quarter century, the gallery has represented central Ohio artists. The gallery's bicentennial window will feature a collaborative work, Frameworks 200, showcasing small pieces by gallery artists in all media including oils, watercolors, pastels and colored pencils, fibers, ceramics and sculpture. Exhibition runs through August 31.

PAWS FOR SUMMER
Artists: Carol Granger and Judy Hoberg

Studios on High Gallery's newest and longest resident artists join to present a show guaranteed to bring sunshine and smiles to the season. 
The Gallery welcomes Carol Granger, colored pencil portrait artist, as the newest member of the 26 year old juried collective.  She will be exhibiting her portraits that feature children and animals, showing the variety of work she produces in colored pencil and mixed media in combination with watercolor. Commissions  are welcomed through Studios on High Gallery or www.carolgranger.com.
 
Judy Hoberg, a founding member of SOHG is know for her whimsical animal sculpture.  New creations in playful summer activities will delight the viewer and brighten any corner of the house or garden throughout the year.  Her studio, located at the gallery, is open to the public.

A TOUCH OF NATURE
Artists: Denise Romecki & Debbie Jackson

Experience the essence of nature in the delicate ceramic sculptures by Denise Romecki. Simple structures that reflect the frailness of the natural world and inspire tranquility of the inner spirit.

Explore the bold, rich, colorful body of work created by polymer clay artist, Debbie Jackson. Influenced by her trip to Ghana, you will see how she successfully mixes batik fabrics, African brass and bone beads, cowrie shells, eggshells, even feathers in her jewelry.
