Expressions of nature and harmony…

Acrylic painting and sculptural ceramics are the artist's mediums of choice. Expressionism best describes her abstract paintings, while the more representational work leans toward impressionism. Mood and atmospheric techniques convey her personal vision which is inspired by nature and its isolated secrets. The paintings can be described as visual expressions of melody and harmony. Creating art sometimes is an adventure into the unknown.

Teda's ceramic creations take the form of organic textured vessels. The collection includes vases, bowls and trays. Ceremonial tea vessels express a somewhat oriental and medieval influence. Art training includes many years of formal classes at various Ohio university art programs and continual independent study and workshops. Teda's works have been juried and curated into several exhibitions in central Ohio and are included in many collections throughout the United States.
