A life spent living in contrasting cultures and countries weaves into a love of nature and gives Beth's work its vibrancy and depth. Tropics and temperate zones each contribute their wealth of subjects and styles. To celebrate the dynamics of the natural world, her works integrate movement, drama and rich color.

Glass is a fantastic medium for depicting the diversity of nature. Its rich array of textures, translucence and color shine or recede as the daylight changes and the lights of night appear. Whether in the direct sunshine or reflecting the glow of indoor lamps, her remarkable fused glass jumps to the observer’s eye and draws us into their shapes and rhythms.

Beth’s award-winning work has been commissioned for hospital and university environments; she is the recipient of Ohio Designer Craftsmen’s award for Excellence in Glass. Her process can be seen on PBS Broad and High arts and culture program – you can link from her website.
