Finding unique and creative ways to incorporate found objects into fabricated jewelry requires skill, innovation and problem solving. This exhibition blends the beauty of stones found in nature with skilled metalsmithing techniques to create unique, wearable art.

May 1 - June 3
A collection of pieces designed for artistic collaboration with non-human participants. The wood and paper sculptures provide shelter, protection, food and play for a variety of local wildlife species, and in the process, each piece is designed to be reshaped by its users over time.

June 5 - July 1
Reflection on a time of quiet enclosure and change leads to new beginnings. Ms. Romecki, a ceramicist, explores how we are entwined with the natural forces that silently surround humankind, and how humankind is no different than the insects and wildlife that surround us.

July 3 - August 5
The artist, a mixed-media painter, presents a series of portraits depicting the inhabitants of the imagined world of Stone City. The show is designed to be a visual tour of the intricacies of the human experience.

August 7 - September 2
SOHG’s annual open call juried show featuring 25-35 Ohio artists.

September 4 - September 30
Inspired by years living in the rainforest of Brazil and the contrasting North American forests she’s surrounded by today, Ms. Himsworth, a glass artist, explores woodland shapes, patterns, dimensionality and colorations.

October 2 - November 4
Ms. Covell Maurer’s encaustic work continues to explore abstracted earth and sky views while bringing new references to ideas of containment, protection and emergence.

November 6 - January 6
This annual show features smaller works by member artists, ideal for holiday gifting.
